reviewers say . . .

"An author to watch!" ~ Michelle Buonfiglio, LifetimeTV

"A sexy, fast-paced romp that will appeal to fans of Cheryl Holt, Lisa Kleypas, and Celeste Bradley."

~RT BOOKReviews

"Pleasuring the Pirate is a fabulous, fun romp full of adventure, mischief, mayhem, romance and yes PIRATES! A truly wonderful book that kept me up well past my bedtime!"

~ All About Romance

"This great Georgian romance is filled with bawdy humor, mindful of Fielding’s classic Tom Jones. Emily Bryan's adventures of the pirate and the courtesan's daughter will pleasure the fans."               ~ Harriet Klausner

"Bryan has a great handle on the material and her characters, creating a charming, colorful story with an intricate, fast-paced story line."

~ Publishers Weekly

"Distracting the Duchess is one of those rare books that could well turn into a modern classic. I found it utterly delightful, funny, risqué and very well constructed."

~ BooksMonthly

The colorful and captivating world of ancient Byzantium provides the intriguing setting for Diana Groe's lushly sensual, sumptuously written historical romance.

~ Booklist

"Ms. Groe’s novel is simply magnificent. The characters are realistically flawed, and the aching love between Erik and Valdis is nearly tangible. This book lingered with me for days after reading it. Ms. Groe has penned an enthralling tale and has won herself a dedicated fan!  Please, keep them coming!"

~ Romance Divas

Erinsong is simply wonderful. So well-told and the characters so riveting that I couldn’t help but fall right into the story. Brenna and Keefe’s romance has a softness that is endearing and surprisingly tender. This is a powerful love story with a sweet ending and a great deal of heart.”

~ All About Romance

Seeing my work translated into other languages is such a thrill. So far, my stories are coming out in German, Dutch, Italian and soon Russian! And what a kick to see how the different markets choose to depict my stories in their cover treatment!

As soon as I have the Russian SILK DREAMS, I'll be sure to post it here.

I love to hear from fans all over the globe! At the last Romantic Times Convention, a reader from Thailand came up to me. She had read my "song" books in English and enjoyed them enough to seek me out. It was a humbling moment.

vexing the viscount was such fun to write because I already knew the heroine so well. Daisy Drake is one of my pirate's orphaned nieces in Pleasuring the Pirate. She had a grand time as a child in the first book. Now she's all grown up and off on an adventure of her own.

Daisy never quite got over her girlhood fascination with Lucian Beaumont. Now that he's the darkly handsome Viscount Rutland, she won't rest till she's helped him find the lost Roman treasure he seeks.

Whether he wants her help or not!

When my editor asked if I'd like to be part of a holiday anthology next year, I jumped at the chance. The theme is a Christmas Ball and the hero and heroine in each story will be attending the same fete.

And YOU are invited too!

The German Maidensong (Die Sklavin des Wikingers)was featured in a two-page spread in the May edition of Loveletter. Kris Hohls, the editor of this premier German fan magazine, hand delivered a copy to me at the RWA Nationals in San Francisco! Thanks, Kris!
